Peterborough Pulse - invites the whole city to walk, bike, dance, play and socialize in spaces typically used by cars. For one summer day, George Street transforms into a vibrant car-free corridor filled with families pushing strollers, cyclists and roller-skaters, Karate and Zumba, art and music, and more. In 2017, Peterborough Pulse Celebrates the 150 with special photo exhibits, arts installations, and activities that showcase and celebrate our unique community and, we hope, provide inspiration for the next 150 years.

Taste of Downtown: will run from 11 am to 5 pm on June 3rd 2017 and features delicious samples from local restaurants, a beer and wine garden, live music, sidewalk sales, local art, and activities for the whole family. Participating retailers will join the restaurateurs, taking to the street with their wares for a sidewalk sale.

Burnham Park quiet spot for a walk in the woods. Stop for a picnic or follow trails that meander through majestic stands of maple, beech, elm and hemlock - among the oldest in Ontario.
Kinsmen Civic Centre Each weeknight and weekend, throughout the winter, the facility is engulfed with minor hockey enthusiasm. Adult hockey is also played on the two ice surfaces with several leagues and tournaments. The Kinsmen Civic Centre is also active in the summer with lacrosse and an adjacent softball diamond.
